CARE Consultants,LLC

CARE tailored its staff development and counselor diversity training for group homes, youth facilities, therapeutic facilities and level 2 therapeutic schools. First and foremost, the role of a counselor that provides a service for the community is unique by its exclusive focus on the social, emotional, and personal development of the youth. Counselors bear the burden of emphasizing social and emotional development of youth through responsive counseling and teaching, after school care, and guidance curriculum. This important role makes it essential that the status of counselors be preserved and enhanced. The important principle of this training is that counselors gain the necessary skills and are placed in comprehensive roles. The comprehensive training emphasizes primary functions of a counselor which are: 1) Responsive care; 2) Counseling, crisis intervention; and consultation; 3) Prevention presentations in classroom settings;4) Positive relationship between the counselor and youth; 5) Evaluation and assessment, and 6) On task and team approach. The bottom line is to train and teach counselors and staff the skills that are necessary to be effective and to provide a safe environment for our youth.

Our facilitators are experienced in public speaking, motivational training, leadership development seminars, and workshops. We are also available to schools, agencies, associations, organizations, and churches that want to either develop their own internal programs or want us to directly provide any of our services.
